Ger has over 30 years’ experience in senior positions in financial services including Head of Regional Banking with Bank of Scotland (Ireland) and Head of Regional Operations with Certus.

​

Ger obtained a First Class Honours degree in Commerce from University College Cork and further degrees in Economics and Marketing.

Ger has served on a number of boards including Brooklyn Properties Ltd and Omnistone Ltd which lead to significant development in Cork Airport Business Park.  He is also on the Risk Advisory Committee of Clann Credo, The Social Investment Fund. In addition he is on the Board of the Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Pension Fund and the Walk for Life charity.

He is currently working as self-employed business consultant and an external consultant with Microfinance Ireland Ltd and as a business Mentor with the Local Enterprise Board.
