Janet Trehy

Janet was the Financial Director & Head of Operations for OBK Architects Limited, a leading firm of architects in Dublin in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s with over 50 staff. OBK was affiliated with Equator European Architects.

​

Janet specialised in her versatile role as Head of Operations in ensuring that the company had adequate staffing and resources to meet its tight client deadlines. She was responsible for recruitment and management of all 55 staff including management of all HR issues. In addition her management responsibilities extended to project management, procurement and supplier relationship management. Janet streamlined internal procedures and communications to generate greater efficiencies.

Janet was responsible for new business development and managed all client relationships. She is a team player with strong leadership capability and employee development experience. This includes the ability to motivate and develop a team, setting and achieving operational targets and aligning them with company objectives.

​

During her time with OBK Janet developed a wide ranging understanding of international feasibility studies working on projects based in Greece, Romania and Croatia.

​

Janet studied at Ballsbridge College and is a qualified ATI. She previously worked with Aon in the International Financial Services Centre.
